JUST YOU JUST ME ( Bb)

On the standard “JUST YOU, JUST ME”, there is a beautiful solo by Charlie Rouse, Thelonious Monk’s regular saxophonist, who gives him plenty of space (as usual).

The solo has a strong blues feel; the notes are chosen with finesse, and the range is interesting, spanning from low B flat to G sharp.
Some passages are not straightforward and require practice, as the tempo is quite brisk.
